Cookie Notice

Version Effective date: September 20, 2022

Nevro Corp. (“Nevro”, “we”, “us” and “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and personal information. This Policy describes how and why Nevro uses cookies and other tracking technologies on Nevro.com, NevroHFX.com, and HFXforPDN.com (“Site” or “Sites”).

What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website or app – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you, such as whether or not you have consented to our use of cookies. Those cookies are set by us and are called first party cookies.

We also use third party cookies – these are cookies set by a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting or a domain we are not operating. We use these, for example, to analyse traffic to our website.

We also use technologies similar to cookies such as pixels, beacons, tags, java scripts, etc. However, for simplicity we refer to them all together as cookies in this Policy.

You can find additional information about cookies, including information about adjusting Internet browser settings and deleting cookies, at www.allaboutcookies.org.

How Do We Use Cookies?

We use two types of cookies: persistent and session cookies. Persistent cookies are cookies that remain on your device for a certain period of time (as indicated in the table below) or until you manually delete them or object to them. Session cookies are cookies that expire at the end of the browser session (e.g., when you leave our website and close your browser).

We use essential (strictly necessary) cookies to (i) manage site traffic; (ii) allow for website functionality; (iii) save user preferences (including cookie preferences); (iv) allow users to submit forms and (v) secure our website and our services (e.g. to detect malicious brute force attacks).

We use non-essential (non-strictly necessary) cookies to (i) observe and analyse traffic levels and other metrics on our website; (ii) to allow for targeting and advertising; (iii) to track embedded services; (iv) to allow for social media functionality; (v) to generate ID / allow for ID syncing on social media; and (vi) for risk analysis purposes. Non-essential cookies also help us to improve our website as well as your overall user experience. We only use non-essential cookies where we have your consent (see below).

As explained above, cookies may be first party or third party, meaning that they are operated by us (first party) or by another party (third party). Please note that interactions with the third party cookies on our website are governed by the privacy and cookie policies of the third party as set out below.

Further information on the types of cookies we use is set out below.

How to Manage Cookies

On your first visit to our website and every six months thereafter, on the homepage you will see a cookie banner informing you why cookies are used, and asking you to consent to non-essential cookies if you agree with us using them (or “Accept” cookies). If you do not agree, you can select “Reject” cookies.

You can change your cookie preferences through the cookie banner, where you have the option of opting-in or opting-out to the use of non-essential cookies on your device. You can also update your cookie preferences at all times by clicking Manage Cookie Preferences.

Please note that you cannot disable strictly necessary cookies since these affect the functionality of our website and your ability to use certain features and functionalities.

Most web browsers also allow some control of most cookies through the browser settings.
