Frequently asked questions
The HFX Solution includes a Senza spinal cord stimulation system that uses 10 kHz Therapy to treat pain from diabetic neuropathy.
Evidence shows that delivering mild electric pulses to the nerves interrupts pain signals to the brain, alleviating pain and improving quality of life. Spinal cord stimulation, or SCS, is a straightforward, well-established treatment for chronic pain that’s been used for over 30 years. SCS involves a minimally invasive implant procedure that lets you go home the very same day.
You can also first try the HFX Solution in a temporary one-week trial to decide if it’s right for you. Learn more about HFX here.

Yes! You can try the HFX Solution in a temporary one-week trial and decide if it’s right for you.
The trial period is typically about a week and usually no more than 14 days. Timing depends on your response to the therapy and your doctor’s recommendation.
You will be involved every step of the way, giving your doctor feedback, and making sure the HFX Solution is programmed to meet your needs. Once you receive your permanent implant, the status of your system can be checked with your Remote Control. Refer to the Accessory Guide under Downloadable Resources for more information.
No. Unlike other spinal cord stimulation systems, HFX 10 kHz Therapy does not create a tingling sensation, known as paresthesia. You may have some procedural pain, but this should subside within 1 or 2 days.
